I woke up very early to capture the California rising sun light up this cozy neighborhood mobile home park situated in Malibu, California. The swaying palm trees, the inviting Pacific Ocean, native landscape and beach cottages all inching their way closer to the water. This commissioned project from a Mobile Home Park owner was so exciting to paint. The geometric surfaces reminiscent of David Hockney's portray of Los Angeles are endlessly challenging to render.
