As my uncle sat in his hospital bed at Cedars Sinai with lung cancer and a brain tumor, he made the difficult life changing decision-"No more treatment", he said. This meant that very shortly he would leave this earth. He was very proud to have raised two successful daughters, a 43 year marriage, a fully renovated home in Culver City and to have built his dream garden at the front and back of his house. As I looked at this Juliet rose, I brought home from a design job I saw this little flower almost with wings flying towards the light.Freedom!
